PKM-2 Moringa, the new variety has recorded an average production of 98 tonnes per hectare. It produces long pods of about 125-130 cm with a girth of 8.40 cm. On an average each of these pods weigh about 280 g. The pods are fleshy with good cooking quality. On cooking, the flesh turns soft and delicious with less fibre, according to the scientists, who developed this variety.

PKM-2-This variety is superior to PKM-1. It is very tasty and soft to eat.
This variety has recorded a fruit yield of 98 tones per hectare of cultivation. This plant begins to flower within 100-110 days of planting. Its pods are 125-130 cm in length, and its average weight is 280 grams.
